Meet adoptable Buddy!
Buddy (previously known as one eye!) is a 1-year-old mixed breed with a heart full of love and a gentle nature. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he’s a total sweetheart. You’ll often catch him softly licking the cats, showing just how gentle and kind he is.
Although Buddy is still a little nervous about car rides, he’s making great progress every day. He’s cool, calm and collected once he’s in there but sometimes he needs a little help getting in and out of the car, but with time, he’s starting to feel more comfortable. His foster home and his crate has become his safe space, and he’s gaining confidence in new situations.
Buddy is a quick learner— He’s working hard on his commands and learning to take his treats gently. He’s also figured out the food routine and has caught on to the fact that a treat awaits when he heads into his crate. (You could say he’s definitely food motivated! He even requires a slow feeder to make sure he doesn’t gobble down his meals too quick!)
Buddy is looking for a loving, patient family who will continue to support him as he grows and becomes more confident. We believe Buddy would do best in a home with another furry companion, he is thriving with his foster siblings and they are helping him gain some much needed confidence!
