 VOLUNTEER

WBARC is always looking for volunteers to help with the various stages of rescue, such as providing transportation to and from the vet, overnight visits, supplies pick up and more. If you love animals and think you would make a good fit, please contact us for a meet and greet!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Love of all animals!

  • Personable and good communication skills (online and in person)

  • Ability to work effectively with a small team and being able to complete tasks individually when needed

  • ​Valid drivers license to be able to do home visits, animal pick ups and drop offs, and airport runs

  • Basic understanding of computer skills: google drive, Microsoft Office (word & excel), email and social media (Facebook)

  • Must reside in the community of Wood Buffalo

  • Experience with fundraising or small business operations is considered an asset

WBARC is supported entirely through private donations, fundraising events, community awards, bottle drives and merchandise sales making our adoption and fundraising events essential to our success!
