427 days. That’s how long ago we met Pickles and her journey hasn’t been an easy one.
Pickles first came into our care to have her seven puppies and to be spayed before being returned to her owner (which is not something we do anymore.) After recovering from surgery and being returned, we checked in on her only to find out that the promises made about her care weren’t being met. Naturally, this broke our hearts, so we made it our mission to get her back. After multiple attempts, the stars finally aligned, and she came back into our care and has been with our amazing fosters.
Pickles is recently moved into a new foster home living with two doggy siblings She has taken some time to adjust to sharing her toys and space during meal time but is starting to get very comfortable in her foster home!
Pickles can be described as a ball of energy who LOVES to play! She is friendly with all doggies but doesn’t tolerate inappropriate behavior and can be reactive to people and dogs walking past the fence. If she gets loose, she’s a runner! Thankfully, she can usually be coaxed back by a friendly passing car that opens the door for her.
Despite some quirks, Pickles is a loving and playful companion who thrives on human interaction and furry friends. She loves her toys, blankies, and bully sticks!
